Custom English Language Programme<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

We provide learning opportunities including a comprehensive writing programme including journal writing and guided, shared and independent reading. Phonics is integrated into our day. We also develop children\u2019s listening skills and confidence in speaking.<\/span><\/p>

Physical development<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Physical development is part of a structured programme that develops skills from spatial awareness to gymnastics ensuring children build strong and healthy bodies.<\/span><\/p>

Creative arts programme<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Our creative arts programme develops musical skill and appreciation while our art programme explores the great artists of the world and develops children\u2019s artistic abilities.<\/span><\/p>

Science and Technology<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Science and Technology is another area that is advancing quickly and we offer children unique opportunities to engage in this area, in the classrooms at Deborah. We believe in providing children an array of quality learning opportunities that nurture their life skills as well as their academic skills providing a balanced education. Interactive whiteboards, web based activities and photography are areas we aim to nurture when appropriate. Critical thinking skills and hands-on science experiments are key learning features.<\/span><\/p>

Numeracy<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Numeracy is a key area of development and includes both a discrete skillset and a topic linked area. Using unique resource and teaching strategies we make learning the basics interesting and natural. Children develop their skills in this area through daily games and activities.<\/span><\/p>

Metacognition Skills<\/span><\/strong><\/p>
